I grew up in NJ, and have always been an active person, so of course I was involved in lots of extracurricular activities growing up. I've tried every sport from gymnastics, to hockey. Of course swimming quickly became my favorite. Even though I didn't learn to swim until I was 9 years old, I was a natural. I went on to swim competitively for over 10 years. I love swimming, and feel it is something everyone should learn to do because you can do it for life.

Once I got involved in the wonderful world of aquatics, it was like I could not escape it. I have been a lifeguard for over 10 years and a swim instructor for more than 8 years. I've taught all ages and all levels, from infants to seniors, and even coached swim teams. Swimming is my thing!

I am an excellent leader and hard worker, so I give 110% to everything I do. I always try to see the good in every situation, and have a very pleasant and positive outlook. I think my positive outlook is contagious, and is one of the reasons why all of my students love my classes. I feel swimming is a necessary life skill, that has countless rewards, far beyond physical fitness; so it’s never too late to learn!
