I have been swimming since I was really young and learned how to at the Westwood Swim Club in Westwood, NJ. I grew up around the beach and spent almost all of my summers swimming! I am a college graduate of Kutztown University and have been teaching swimming since 2004. Swimming is not only a great recreational and competitive sport, it is also great exercise and is extremely important for others to learn. In addition to teaching during spare time in summer months I compete as a tri-athlete, which includes open water ocean swimming, triathlons and bike tours. I enjoy spending time in the water teaching this very important lifesaving skill.
