I started swimming on the Kingston Estates Swim Team at the age of seven. Placed second overall 10 times in Cherry Bowl Championships and received a first place in relays. Qualified for the Tri-county Swimming Championship, and Broke two butterfly records at the age 17 and 18. Continued winter swimming at the Burlington YMCA and Camden County YMCA where I qualified for States, Regional’s, and made it to Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale for the Freestyle and Medley relays. Continued my swimming career at University of Scranton where I swam my freshman and sophomore year. I placed 8th overall in the 100 freestyle at the state championships in college and 9th in the 200 freestyle. During my time in college I coached Willowdale swim club for 3 years in the summer. I was an assistant swim coach for two years and the head coach for 1 year. During my time there I trained 5 – 8 years olds with stroke mechanics and 9-18 for competitive swimming. I have lived and breathed swimming my whole life, and am excited to teach young children, adolescents, and adults how to swim.
