I am working with Making Waves to continue my passion of helping people of all ages enjoy the pool and gain knowledge about water safety.

I have been in or around a pool since the day I was born; the pool is a wonderful comfort zone. My competitive swimming started when I was five years old as the smallest kid in the pool, but I loved it. I continued to swim competitively until graduating high school. Once I moved away to college I gained my lifeguard and lifeguard instructor certifications. With these two certifications I have been teaching lessons and training young adults to become lifeguards now for 6 years, with truly an extreme amount of passion for the water.

Through my lessons each participant will gain water safety skills and also develop strong swimming techniques. As I taught lessons over the years my participants have ranged from 18 month to adults wanting to swim with their grandchildren. My goal is to help your child or yourself gain water safety, fine tune your swimming skills and I believe that as a team we can make that happen! To reach my goal(s) for each participant we will build a trusting relationship and work at a level that I feel each participant is capable of performing.
