I've been in the pool since a very early age. My mom took me to Mommy and Me swim classes at the local YMCA, and I can't remember a summer of my childhood afterwards that I wasn't in a swim class or at a swim oriented camp.  I got my start as an instructor in high school, volunteering for a weekend program that taught local children how to swim. I have been teaching for over 8 years, and have worked for day camps and the YMCA teaching all ages from toddler to adult and all levels from beginners to advanced.  My goal as an instructor is to find the right way for each student to learn how to swim, learn basic pool safety, and find true enjoyment out of being in the water.
