Debbie F - Female

I have worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at a day camp for several years and was on a swim team for the majority of her high school career.  Currently I am a Rutgers students,  I would describe myself as a patient, determined, and outgoing individual. I believe that the combination of these three qualities have truly helped me succeed as a teacher in the past. I am able to create a comfortable environment, such that my students feel they can communicate with, and trust me. More importantly however, I understand the underlying fear of water that many people face when entering a pool; my patience and determination are what allow me to relate to the student and provide reassurance that allows for the student to learn.
