Brian
For as long as I can remember the water has been a large part of my life. Some of my happiest memories involved swimming so it was only fitting that my first job at 15 was as a lifeguard & swim instructor at a local summer camp. I was soon promoted to head lifeguard and by time I was 21 I obtained my Water Safety Instructors certification and was promoted to Aquatics Director. Since then I have been running the pool and directing all aquatic activities in the pool. During my summers at camp I have taught swimming to children from ages 5 to 14 in groups from as small as 2 to as large as 20. I have interacted with children that have different backgrounds, personalities and skill levels.
I loved my experiences teaching and interacting with kids so much that when it was time for me to go to college I decided that I wanted to get my degree in Health and Physical Education. I attended TCNJ and received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in teaching. For the last few years I have been teaching and coaching at Fisher Middle School in Ewing.
I look forward to meeting you and helping your child have as much fun swimming as I do.
